Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What's the consensus on grass covering dry stone walls. Is it just too labourous to just start at one end and to physically pull and scrap all of it off till you get to the end. It's a boundary wall facing the road.

Will it grow back just as fast? Is it just more quaint with the grass or does it look far better bare ,exposing the crafts of years gone by?

What did they do in the old days? Were they proud to keep it bare or once built it was left to go as it pleased.

A man is rich in proportion to the number of things which he can afford to let alone.

Cattle and sheep kept it ate in old days.
On the road side, a cow could be grazed on the "long acre".
A good strimmer would batter it down if it annoyed you.

Those walls are handy for filling drains or putting in roads.
