Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

When shipping watches overseas, what courier do you use?

Its not massively expensive but i still want to be sure it will get to its destination safely and ideally is insured.

I started a thread on this a while ago. I used mailboxes etc on Lombard Street a couple of times, but pretty much had my pants pulled down to ship a watch to Prague.

Last time I sold a watch to someone in the UK, I went to NI and posted it fully insured for about GBP15. Prices go up considerably with the Royal Mail to post to Europe.

Thanks. Seems it's almost not worth the hassle of shipping an affordable overseas. Keep all sales local I guess!

It can be a pain, but the bigger market in the UK can make it worthwhile if driving to NI is not too inconvenient.
