Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It was Grosjean that hit him.

Looks like a racing incident. Nico hit his rear wheal off Grosjeans front one and it through him over on his side.

    Peace and long life.

No damage to Grojeans car it appears.

Hate to say it but probably Nico to blame there.

I really hate all the gravitas after accidents like that, it wasn't a big accident.

    Will Smith is an idiot.

    Who hit Nico?

    Grosjean

It looked to me that Nico closed the door on Grojean just a bit too much.

Don’t like the way the halo stops you from getting out

Whether you can get out or not is a redundant argument if the lack of halo has already left you with a head injury that may have already killed you.

Hope Leclerc gets a good result

Did Ocon get a penalty for Brazil?

If so I don't see how that incident is any different to be honest.

No further action is right but if Ocon got a penalty then I'd be pretty pissed off.

Ocon was given a 10 second stop go penalty

i dont see any diference between max/ocon and mag/roman incidents.
one ruled a racing incident and the other a 10 second stop go. terrible stewarding standards

Nico is fine. That is great news. Although I missed his crash with Grosjean.

Don't think that was the best call from Sauber to pit LeClerc. Lost 10 places and now he's been stuck behind Alonso for a while.

Well if you have Sky just catch the beginning of the race again on Sky1 +1 although C4 just showed it there again.

Oooo it's raining in the middle of Abu Dhabi apparently.

You can guarantee that this will be a downpour if it the case

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,990 ✭✭✭Cool_CM

I really hope that it rains, that would be excellent! :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,542 ✭✭✭dublinman1990

Drops of rain will happen in 5 minutes according to Sauber.

Doesn't look to be much in the way of rain so far. A few drops only

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,542 ✭✭✭dublinman1990

If it rains hard for this race. Intermediate tyres will definitely be ready for use.

I won't miss that sinking feeling that you get when you see Alonso entering the pits - even if it is for a scheduled stop! :pac:

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,648 ✭✭✭✭skipper_G

Seriously, would Will Smith just **** off already

It's only taken 2 seasons, but in his final race Vandoorne actually showed some ability for once. Too little too late

Nice seeing Vandoorne showing a bit of fight after what must have been a demoralising season

Really feel sorry for the guy, having a shi!tbox of a car to work with and up against Alonso as a team-mate isn't exactly ideal.
