    FFWD wheel sets are on sale on sportpursuit;

    http://www.sportpursuit.com/sales/ffwd-jul16

They're still by no means cheap, but if you're in the market for wheels, I don't think you'd go too far wrong.

A lot of the same stuff seems to come up for sale again and again on sportpursuit, but this is the first time I've seen FFWD wheels for sale on the site.

Huub suits are 50% off again on Sport Pursuit for those interested

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,540 ✭✭✭MojoMaker

Anyone have any experience with SportsPursuit's returns policy? How would it compare to Wiggles no-quibble efficient returns?

Use the scenario of a wetsuit not being a perfect fit etc.

Bought stuff from them for a few year now , only had to return two items about three weeks ago. (American sizes I'm guessing but way way to big) !! Went into my account, printed the return slip and posted them back to the return address which happens to be in Portlaoise !.. Got the value of the items refunded to my PayPal within two weeks . Just be careful not to take off the tags or make bits of the original packaging. So all good in my book .

I returned a Garmin to them a few months ago. As soon it was delivered, I wasn't happy with it and I got in touch with them about it. They were equally prompt in getting back to me. Same as previous poster, I posted the item to an address in Port Laoise and emailed them a photo of the receipt for postage costs. As soon as they had received the Garmin, they refunded the cost of postage to my credit card and not too long after a new unit was delivered to me. I just explained why I wanted to return the item, no questions were asked and I got no hassle at all from them.

Still loads of these left. Wonder what's wrong with them?

Timing possibly. Anyone who needs a suit has one at this stage in the season. Who is buying for next season in August when this deal comes around again in the spring etc.

    Some nice bits here
    http://www.privatesportshop.fr/192414-univers-cycle-et-triathlon
    Including Adamo's

They are essentially the same as Sport Pursuit. I've bought a couple of bits off them in the past with no issues

Kona2016-50 will get you 50% off any power meter on https://www.powertap.com. Technically meant for Kona qualifiers but managed to get it to work, serious bargain on their pedals ....

I did look at the sizing chart, but how would you gauge their sizing.... small/castelli or large/dhb

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,377 Mod ✭✭✭✭pgibbo

I'm the same size in these as Castelli.

I went for S in everything except the jacket. I'm 5'11 and 71kg

I'm surprised S fits you in Castelli. I'm shorter at 174cm and was lighter at 65/66kg. I wear S in most brands and like my gear snug but need a M in Castelli. My measurements are bang on the chest/waist measurements for medium on the Vermarc chart but I'm still well under 75kg mark they give, I'm 69/70kg currently. Haven't got fatter! just working a more physical job so my arms and chest aren't as scrawny as they were!

Not sure which to go for, it says comfort fit though so think I'm better to go with the small.

More of a running bargain but picked up a pair of Nike Pegasus in Kildare Village outlet shop with an extra 30% off for €51. Loads of sizes but only one colour (black).
