Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have put in for a claim in the correct time frame and the company has admitted liability, I am just wondering if anyone has been through this before and can give me any advice on going against a big company and what to expect in the time frame of the process and the compensation??

    How did the accident occur.

Do you work in an area where PPE should be worn as per company standards ?.

Is there a health and safety officer or member of in charge of PPE checks.

When you say proper footwear, were you supplied with any safety footware at all

    Procedural pointers
Consult an experienced solicitor to investigate matter along lines mentioned above and also
Engineer's report on place of accident, its condition
( solicitor will advise on suitable engineer )
Check employer's records re this accident - accident report form etc and similar re any previous accidents
Medical reports - orthopaedic, physio, further scans and medical investigations
Particulars of how injury has to date and is likely in future to affect you at work and socially
Check that all relevant has been furnished to insurers and that all notices for particulars have been replied to or updated as case may be.
Ascertain present and future loss of earnings
Be careful of being photographed at any sport,or similar
It takes time and effort to bring a case to trial. Cooperate with your solicitor,

Health & safety have been out to the site and found it in breach of basic safety. Footwear was to be supplied by employers and management have chased it up on several occasions but none ever arrived
