Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

I am currently building a new home from scratch and i'm currently in talks to get works started. I have selected my builder and ready to go and we both agreed on a fixed price contract

    My question is.
Who creates the fixed price contract between builder and I?

Is it the builder? is it me? is it the engineer/architect? or solicitor?

    Eng/arch typically organizes contract

A contract is only as good as the documents it’s based on.

The contract is typically ‘between’ you and the builder. The Eng/arch ‘administer’ the contract

    Search ‘RIAI contract’

Your architect/engineer will draw up the contract but it will be between you and the builder.
