Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My picks are Droopys Ward and Laughil Blake. Droopys ran a brilliant race in English Derby final, as Laughil did behind Boylesports Hero in Clonmel.

5 going through in some heats is a bit of a joke. Some great dogs though. Looking forward to it

Mind the net and barefoot apollo are two dogs I fancy.
sugar ray will probably make the final too knowing him.

I do not agree with this really. The real joke was Wimbledon with 2 qualifiers from 6 in the first round. I am in favour of dogs getting every chance to qualify from the first round.

Very good dogs in it this year, I fancy Mind The Net myself.

I think it should be 4 + 4 fastest losers.

Holdemspy to keep qualifying and swooping on the wide. Cant believe how few wides are in the competition, good to hear clonmel opening up on saturday nights to show the heats!

Don't they always open for it? No bookies, though. Pity they're still not allowed race on Saturday nights.

Tote not bad value on the night though. Also the early prices on the heats with the books during the day are all over the place so loads of value to be had!!!

Shame they not allowed to race saturday nights though...

the igb site and its reliability or lack there off is going to be an issue

it tends to crash when busy of late and then crash for nothing at all it seems

and the online betting tote seems to be the most troublesome

I emailed their IT dept the weekend before last and was told that NO ONE else had problems, that the site was "OK Now" and it must be MY broadband! I responded to say that of course No one will complain, when nothing's going to be done about it. I suggested one of their team tried using the site on a saturday night, but got no response. It's a good thing most tracks will be opening to facilitate tote and intertrack punters.

that is typical of the Igb It Department thats why the site has been so poor over the last good few years

you can get the 24 dogs stream to run on vlc media player , but theres no commentary , but its better than nothing , for when the site crashs

We usually go out to the dogs on a saturday night anyway. The night in question, we decided to stay in and we did watch it on 24dogs. I was trying to access results from other tracks and kept getting a white page, so even if I DID want to watch on iGB, I had no chance!

    Gutted for Boulesports Heros connections.

Nowso, any chanc you could put up videos of races 7 and 9? All is on IGB is a picture of parade ring and result!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,492 ✭✭✭roy rodgers

I wouldn't mind but boylesports hero was starting to show some acceleration coming off the 2nd bend when the mishap happened. Definitely a series fast dog.
Had the winner backed in that race emer superstar. Ran a good race and will run well next week.
Two other dogs that impressed last night
vimmerby and millridge leader and the dog that was second to vimmerby also ran a big race.
kereight kings drugs must be out his system now as he looks to be struggling the last couple of runs..

Backed emers superstar as well..just thought it took ages to get up? Good buckle also with the tyrur dog. Brgds johnny

    Saturday.

Tyrur Arthur has been withdrawn from Heat 14. Reserve will run.
Tyrur O’Driscoll has been withdrawn from Heat 18. Reserve will run.
Barefoot Scholar has been withdrawn from Heat 20. Reserve will run.

    Reserves
The reserves available at this stage are Salmon Lad, Mickey Cee Mayo, Knight Bite and Afro Jack. These are all inside seeds and will be allocated their races at weigh-in that order.

is there something up with the tyrur kennels with two of them out tomorrow night??

I have to say I had no trouble last night following the racing from my Vodafone wifi thing.
I think I will do the same tomorrow night as its great that im able to go back on dogs history from the igb web site and lay off with paddy power or the tote
had a great night last night 7 winners from 10 bets.
one thing about the derby I was told years ago was, at least ya know every dog is trying

What were they thinking of with running poor Skywalker Puma? Sad sight last night.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 599 ✭✭✭Ian Whelan

Sugar Ray has drifted to 50/1 after his run. I think you can more or less disregard the run given the trouble he encountered. 50/1 is tempting for a dog of his experience and ability, I might have a few bob each way.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 5,695 Mod ✭✭✭✭Nowso

puma got a lot of trouble . sugar ray is very draw dependent on winning .

lot of people said laughill blake at a big price - they seem shrewd at this stage

Thats what greyhound racing is all about - The DREAM. If you don't have one of your own good enough to have a go, part of the fun is trying to find one that might go a few rounds and hopefully get to the final.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 803 ✭✭✭jkmanc1974

Nowso what do you think of holdemspys run last night? Sugar ray drawn wrong gets knocked out to be sure

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 5,695 Mod ✭✭✭✭Nowso

Holdem was short of a run , the connections have said before the start he would be short

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 604 ✭✭✭famagusta

how many from each heat go through in the second round?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,492 ✭✭✭roy rodgers

3 to go through in this round.

heat 3 is gonna be some race on thursday night.
I fancy millridge leader to be a dark one that could win it but hes up against it on Thursday.
Holdem spy should win on thursday night too.
I think trap 6 could be the one to watch on v thursday

What happens if a dog who qualifies tomorrow gets clearly injured in the process and cant line up in the next round?. Is it just a vacant trap?.
