Floor tresholds/profiles at a reasonable price?

Howdy do folks.

Looking to see can anyone help me figure out where I can get tresholds (ie; generally a piece of self-adhesive plastic, steel or timber that you use to join one floor to another, usually under doors) at a reasonable price?

Lidl stocked some generic silver plastic ones before for €3, which were perfect for my needs. So I am finding it hard to justify the costs I'm seeing in Woodies and Homebase of €20+ per 3ft treshold. :eek:

Wondering if anyone know of any online (or bricks/mortar) stores that might be useful here? Can't believe the prices for these yokes. Someone, somewhere, is raking it in!

If you can stay away from the DIY shops. Go to a flooring shop that supplies wooden floors/carpets e.g. Floors and Doors on the Longmile Road, Bargintown. Better selection and cheaper as in you should get an 8ft bar for around 20 euro depending on what profile you need.

Go to market all trading opposite woodies in glasnevin (http://www.marketall.ie/) They have a trade counter and should have everything you need.
