Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The effects of increasing age on long term illnesses?

I have been trying to find this especially re M.E but the only real response I had was that there has been no research as sufferers do not reach old age often, We apparently die of " overwhelming infections" .

It was that that after due discussion with those I trust that it was decided I go into isolation.. ( NB I love the term cocooning!) Certainly we know that there are serious immune system issues in M.E and I have severe Raynauds in my feet.

Just wondering how and if age does exacerbate long term illnesses? I am nearer 80 than 70 now. At peace with being very limited, and without medical input or recognition re the M.E Which many drs have now not heard of

Any thoughts, please? Thank you l
