Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Forgive me if this has been dealt with before.

Peculiar and ongoing issue with one, maybe 2 channels on a standard sky box.

For some odd reason, when it rains heavily I loose CNN, pixilation or just still image. The problem also affects aljazzera. But the kicker is, no other channels affected. Its obviously not the box albeit an old sky SD box. I've done some googling and mixed messages on the possible cause.

I've considered changing LNB but just wondered is that the possible issue, its certainly more than 10 years old but again no issues with other channels. I'm not a sky customer, just use the free channels etc

Thanks in advance of any possible advice

CNN and some others, are on a weaker transponder. They are particularly sensitive to dish misalignment. Most of the time, this may not be an issue, but in rain, the signal level is reduced again and may dip below that required for picture reception.

It is a sign that you dish is slightly out of alignment, but only enough to affect the weakest signals - 'rain fade' is often a first hint that a slight adjustment needs to be made.

Thanks for that, I'll give it ago when wind and rain dies down.
