Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I imagine this super tour with Def Leppard and Poison will be North America only and wont venture over this side of the world

Not a hope of this coming here but could see it possibly been in the UK

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,386 ✭✭✭Wrongway1985

Def Leppard are much bigger outfit in the UK than Motley regardless of a comeback.

Pity it won't hit Europe but If all hell doesn't break losses in the motley camp they might return to Europe someday

Reckon they can act like they like each other on stage and then do little talking or hanging out of it

watching 'The End' blu ray now and by god you have to feel sorry for some of the fans they interviewed at the start. Some had tatoos with the 31st Dec 2015 RIP Crue etc. Not forgetting the people who paid $1000s for the meet & greets on that tour

I don't .... seriously, if you're expecting artistic integrity from Motley fcukin Crue you get what you deserve

    Saw them at

    Monsters of Rock 1984
    Hammersmith Odeon 1986
    Manchester Arena 2012

Still hopeful of seeing them again because my 17 yr old son now loves listening to them too!

Only saw them once in Manchester 2015 good show a lot more theatrical than i imaged

Never played in Ireland and possibly never will for some reason. A Tommy Lee DJ set somwhere was the only time a member played here AFAIK

Same as. Seeing them was a spectacle though I thought the set list could have been better and VN was very poor singing.
    Alice Cooper was definitely better.

yeah Alice Cooper puts on an amazing show, 2nd time seeing him as support (1st was with Def Leppard in Dublin 2011)

Happy enough with Crues performance on the night, Manchester Arena great venue and sound. Nikkis speech was a lot ****e tho :pac:

The whole tour seemed identical going by 'The End' DVD

Yeah, "your city was always important to MC when we were starting out". I wonder did they pull that one out in Abu Dhabi.

On the reunion tour next year his speech will about 'the fans in this city is the reason why we came back, you played our songs and kept our music alive' etc

Crue actually use a snippet of a Gary Glitter song (rock n roll)

Surprised there's not uproar over it

Just throwing this out there, say i bought tickets to the final shows by the crue, on the back of them saying they would never tour as they had signed a contract saying so.

Say i also bought flights and hotel

Surely you'd be able to sue the band for this as they've breached their contract as you only paid all that out because it was the last chance to see them

Yeah it was the ultimate dick move by the band

But did anybody not see it coming

Didn't see it coming until the Netflix movie starting doing pretty well. Hard to believe that movie came out 2 years ago

$$$$ is needed and the tour is Purley for that reason

    Oh yeah definitely.
I saw them in Donington 84, Hammersmith Ocean 86 (met vince in carnaby st) & Manchester Arena 2011.
If they appear here or the UK next year I'll go.

Was at Donington in 84 too. Went through Sound Cellar. What a day(and line up) that was.

Saw them in Manchester in 2015 and it was great. Would definitely go see them again if they ever played the 3Arena

Can't see them touring Europe till after the US Tour or even at all. They might make enough $$$ touring the States

Them and Def Leppard rotating headling spots each date. Bit surprised Crue didn't headline opening night (which the video above is from)

More than likely won't come here and a trip to the UK/Europe to see it

So joe elliot has confirmed a European statium tour for 2023.

He has also confirmed that a date has been booked for Dublin, he hasn't confirmed if the Crue will be on the bill though.
