Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

    Looking at going away for 2 nights during Easter hols. Would like to maybe stay on one of the islands around Ireland.

    Any suggestions of which would be the nicest? Just somewhere to relax and have good food and walks :)

    Inis Oirr is my fave - easily accessible from Co. Galway (plane & ferry) and Co. Clare (ferry) .... a few local pubs, nice walks, stone walls, great beaches, ....

    Sherkin or Clear Island are both great with very frequent ferries from Baltimore in West Cork.

    Inishmore. Particularly if you get good weather... Cliffs of Dún Aonghas are fab on good day. Great views across to 12 Pins mountains. There's a gorgeous beach near Cliffs too.

    Inish Oírr is nice too but not much to see at all. Very isolated and quiet. Nice for walking.... Not hilly. But Inishmore has more to it....particularly if you'd cycle around it.
