Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So will it be 5 out of 5 for Cork clubs or none at all? I would not know much about the club scene so I shall ask the experts in the know on here to decide!

My club put a plan in for funding for last February's deadline. We got news last Thursday. What a insult, we recived a sum which comes to 16% of the total cost. We were hoping to put in 35% funding with our savings plus bank loans. It a joke. The papers were full of the story of 1700 clubs being granted funds for development. We would bankcrup our club if we tried to take on this project. What a waste of time.

    Kanturk 2-17 Kilburn 2-8 Ft

Welcome to the sports capital grants. They cant please everyone.

I’d have to say my own club have benefited well out of the sports grants over the past 10-15 years with a number of different projects and never had an issue
If you didn’t get what you were looking for there’s usually a very straight forward reason

She sure did. Not sure how Orla didn't get a free with 30 seconds to go though, they were hanging off her.

Carnacon 3 up at HT and had 7 wides. Doireann OSullivan hit the post with a great effort on goal

    Knocknagree 0-10 Dromid 2-4 45min

Doireann was very unfortunate with that goal attempt. They haven't really got going. Cora is causing problems as is Downing.

Mourneabbey under massive pressure on their own kickouts

They are a little sloppy with their passing but clearly the better team are winning.

Knocknagree 1 up at HT in ET.

Hope they do but this will be robbery if Mourneabbey sneak this

Knocknagree 1 up at HT in ET.

Sounds like a brilliant game Dromid kept going 1 point up and Knocknagree kept bringing it back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,163 ✭✭✭zetecescort

Better team won, worked hard to bring it back to 2 points but gave themselves too much to do going 6 or 7 down after half time

Better side won. A real pity that goal didn't go in the first half.

Great win by Knocknagree and history made by the club. They have finally ended Kerry dominance over Cork clubs for the last 10 years at this level.

Fantastic win !! I was sick of seeing Kerry teams win. Delighted for them!!

Over budget as expected, premium ticket prices to be restructured. Debt expected to be cleared in 2 years which in itself is being very optimistic.

read the piece about the stadium board of directors and looking for outside people like John Mullins and Michael O'Flynn yet Lane, Kennedy(fair enough, incoming chair) , Christy Cooney, Bob Ryan and the two Murphys, Frank and Pearse will all be on the board.

    So much for new people.

Lane also said Frank is retiring December 2018

Stephen McD has been a stand out servent for club and county for last 7 or 8 year's. Midelton Cillian Burke should be the player, but heard he is going travelling.

Perhaps not as a starter, we play 4 out of 5 weekends in Munster next year so a big squad needed.
