Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The official opening of the €23m Cork's County Library on the Carrigrohane Straight, which had been due to take place today has been cancelled
An official is quoted as saying it was a complete disaster, both books were destroyed, and one hadn't even been coloured in yet.

The ESB shares blame but overall I think Cork people should be embarrassed by their city again. Not only are the Roads and Libraries crap in Cork but the city itself was developed pretty crap, the creation of Cork should be named an urban nightmare not a vision. Its one of the only cities on Earth where in people with holes in their shoes are allowed look down on the business people, the teachers, the real working class and shop owners. Most of the decent high ground was given to the peasants hence the modern affection term Knackeragua, cover the areas of the Mayfields, the Knocknaheenys. Its one of those places where young men with quiffs at the front and thin moustaches and girls with scrunchie or Annies and large ear rings and ponytails with hair pulled back so far that it stretches the facial skin to make the girls look like Joan Rivers. These kinds of people can continue drawing welfare and watch the real part of the City go under, as per usual Cork lets the wrong kind of people drown.
    PS
Why do you people insist on using the flag of Japan or the flag of Texas during your GAA matches, you look like a bunch of spacers
