I saw them in the mid 1980's in Leisureland, Galway. It was called ' The End of the Road tour' !

But, drummer is gone...Bass player is gone...Rick has sadly passed.

The UK’s best-loved rockers Status Quo are coming to Dublin on 6th October 2020 with the ‘Backbone’Winter Tour.

Quo will be performing hits from across their five decade career, and of course the latest hit album ‘Backbone’ their highest charting album of new material for 37 years since ‘1+9+8+2’ in 1982. This tour sees the band’s return to the stage, as part of a major European tour, after largely taking a break in 2019.

no mention of it being acoustic, the last tour was meant to be the last electric. But their (his!) "last" gigs are a running joke at this stage.

I'm going to go. Bass player has been (John Edwards) there since late 80s, keyboard player since 1976. Alas no Rick parfitt but still should be good

    Parfitts replacement is Irish.

I've been to many incarnations of the band and they will put on a great gig.

I just saw the original band many times, including their last gig here in 2014. That was the End of The Road for me, especially after Parfitt's passing
