Any tips, are there any good tools/apps out there where I can get a good indication of a location where I might get a good sunset

I use photopills to see the angle that the sun will be setting. Up to yourself to see what would fit on the map from there.

Hey, thanks for your response. Yeah I am aware of that app but I guess I was more looking at predicting a nice sunset/sunrise.

For example the app will tell me where the sun will be setting what angle etc but it does not mean I will infact get a nice sunrise sunset. Things like high and low cloud fall into it.

Is there an app that can do both?

What do people use?

I would be interested what other people do be at the right place at the right time

SkyCandy and Skyfire apps show up on a quick google. Might be worth a test drive.
