    To properly answer the question.

    The PPSN has one or two letters on the end. They form part of a mod 23 check digit.

    From 5 digits and a letter (or two) it is very easy to reconstruct the full PPSN.

    e.g. 1234567T is a valid PPSN and these are the possible combinations using 34567T.

    1234567T
    3334567T
    5434567T
    7534567T
    9634567T

    To verify your correct PPSN they then log into ROS and enter the 5 possible PPSNs into their PPSN Checker.

    When is the money (including lost growth) Michael Noonan took in the Pension Levy going to be paid back?
