Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well here we go again! This is the next installment of the Ultimate Tournament and this time your inner child is gonna decide which show triumphs. I hope y'all are ready to drive down memory lane as we revisit the 80's and 90's. There's gonna be knockout action going on from the off and things might just get heated... and that's how we like it.

I'm sure it's an eclectic mix of comedy, drama, arts, documentary, quiz, children's, music, etc.

    There could be hundreds contenting.

I'm not sure of the official and correct metric measure but there'll be a fuck-tonne.

Knowing the fcukwits who post for the likes of Chikatees and pink wafers the old BBC testcard is likely to win.

Good shout. I never would have thought of that. I vote for the BBC testcard.

I just know the two of them are plotting to kill the teacher.

Here's the rules for Round 1

    1. Each match is made using a Random Number Generator.

    2. You must give a reason for your choice or it won't count. It's more fun this way. Some people cast a vote with just their choice and then go back to edit it and include a choice. This is allowed once your post is edited by the time the count begins i.e. fairly quickly.

    3. The first show to receive 8 votes goes through to the next round.

You'll have to toughen up, there's no hand holding or support here. Eat or be eaten, this is serious business.

Transformers. They are literally robots but they are disguised. How cool is that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,531 ✭✭✭✭Leg End Reject

Transformers because of the song and it can't be easy for a robot to don a convincing disguise

Earthworm Jim because I forgot Transformers when I was thinking of shows so he obviously has the edge.

The Earthworm Jim song wasn't too shabby either though to be fair. Transformers are infinitely cooler though so they get my vote.

Transformers, while I’d have been a fan of Jim he just can’t compete. Transformers was great.

What were you thinking kicking this off on a Friday night, when everyone’s out numbing their pain instead of on a Monday afternoon when the effect is starting to wear off and they need a distraction?
