Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Most of the cloud that was about this afternoon cleared this evening. The day's high recorded here in Glasnevin was 22.4C earlier this evening. It's currently cooled down a lot at 14.8C.

    Full sunshine today give or take a little Cumulus blocking at times. Sea breeze kicked in the afternoon and it did hold back temps somewhat.

    Those figures seem quite high.

    According to MET E, Phoenix Park's Mean Max for July so far is just 20.02 and for Dublin Airport it's 19.1.

    PP tends to be affected by a slight UHI effect so being over a degree warmer than there might suggest your station could be in a mini heat trap?

    I am approx. 20km from PP, as the crow flies, so conditions can vary?

    I am in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains (vicinity of Marley Park) and tend to get quite a few 'foehn days' in summer when winds are SE to SW. Can often be sunny with clear blue skies here while the rest of Dublin is cloudy.

    BTW, 23.6c here atm with a light SSW breeze.

    Felt warm and close today here in Kerry getting up to 23.4C and quite cloudy for most of it.

    Got very dark for a time this evening amd had a bit of rain giving 1.2mm

    Mild night at 16.5C

    Was walking barefoot on the footpath outside and the rainwater was warm underfoot.

    If any breaks in overcast, full moon will be in partial eclipse around 10:40 p.m., the southern (lower right) hemisphere may show some signs of shadow. Saturn appears just to the right of the moon and brighter Jupiter a good deal further to the right (would be due south at same time, moon low in southeast).

    15.3C amd overcast here near Tralee.

    Got up to 20.8C with 1.8mm in the gauge. Back around Dingle today and a lot more rain there.

    Overcast for the most part and windy for atime getting up to 40 km/h. Went to the beach at 17.30 but the red flag was up so gave it a miss.
