Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Property company asking for PPS number

Viewing a few places recently to move in to with my girlfriend. Found a place we like and getting things together to move in. One of the things the property company wants to know is m our PPS numbers, is this the norm?

Is this just to put through to the revenue or do/can they do checks using our numbers? If that was the case wouldn't letters from our employers be enough? But then again maybe it's nothing and it's just for the revenue...

Yes it's the norm, it's needed to register you with the PRTB.

Eventually PPS numbers will be a record of where you lived throughout your life and can be used for background checks.
