Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    These bargain thread arguments always go the same way;

    great deal is posted; someone goes and buys far too many of the item/cleans out a store(s) - comes into thread to tell everyone (brag?) - people who missed out on it give out and are angry

    round and round we go

    This thread is becoming useless. I have to sift thorough pages of complaints to try and find the bargains.

    Amen to that... the last three pages are just rants and bitching at each other!

    I remember the good old days of bargains on here...

    Tbf I prefer the rants now instead of the disaster when the Mac was mid priced, the amount of people looking for a reserve number

    In fairness, there should be a thread for unattainable bargain alerts and especially for argos ones...

    Ones from legendary history on BA that could go in it are the tvs from viking direct, the 50 euro iphones and now the 3.99 irons!

    Just placed an order for 2 for Tallaght- but because of the collection date I'm not going to able to get them. Anyone want a reservation for 2 for collection between Tuesday the 5th and Wednesday the 6th of May (i.e. Tue or Wed of next week) in Tallaght?

    Edit:

    Gone to Rackstar. No more PMs from people please.

    No, you cannot request codes on here. There was much debate but to cut a long story short the code requests were being abused and items were ending up on adverts.

    The crayola board is available to order at the two stores I tried (Dublin) on the Argos website (ignoring what the check argos site said), alas for me, they're not available until next week and I won't be around so I didn't reserve them.

    Has anyone actually tried these, there are very mixed reviews and someone said the ink to refil the pens isn't bring made anymore. May work out expensive enough trying to find new pens?

    If something goes out of stock in Argos, is that usually it, or do they restock it?

    depends on item.

    If its a clearance sale usually what's there is sold and never to be seen again.

    You can get replacement pens on Amazon- but they're only at full price (nearly $30). Unless anyone can come up with a better idea?
