Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Somewhere in Europe? What type of thing are you looking for? Beach break?

Sun and sand a 2 hour flight away in mid April ain't gonna happen. Anywhere with decent weather this time of year you'd be talking the Canaries or Dubai, etc.

Why don't ye head away somewhere nice in Ireland since it's only 3/4 nights? There are some fabulous hotels and you'd get somewhere luxurious for the same price as going away, eg the Monart in Wexford, Cliff House in Waterford, Sheen Falls in Kerry, Adare Manor in Limerick, Castlemartyr in Cork, Wineport Lodge in Westmeath, Solis Lough Eske in Donegal, Ice House in Mayo, K Club in Kildare, the list goes on and on, plus all the Dublin usual spots etc.

The weather would be perfect in sicily. Andalusia in spain would be fab too.

Not really if the OP wants a beach type holiday (OP mentioned sun and sand) - the sea would be a bit too cold to swim in during mid-April in Sicily and Spain.

A friend of mine was in Sicily some years ago for Easter break. It looked amazing. There is an explosion of wildflowers in spring time. Average daytime temperature is 18C. Sea might be a bit cold still but otherwise it sounds like the perfect time to go there.
