HDD: 2TB Samsung Spinpoint F4 EcoGreen - €71.39
Disc Drive: Sony NEC Optiarc AD-7260S - €15.79

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium - €84.56

I'm back again looking to buy a new gaming rig (giving this one to brother). I would appreciate your input. Details -


1. What is your budget? [€1400-1500]

2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming (FPS - BF4 etc)

3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [Yes] Win 8

4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No

5. Do you need a monitor? [No] I have 24"

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? 1920x1080

6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [Keyboard/Mouse/Wireless Card/Card Reader/Speakers/etc.] DVD Drive

7. Are you willing to try overclocking? [Yes/No] No

8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser] Any

9. When are you purchasing? [In x days] Can purchase this week or next

10. If you need help building it, where are you based? looking to get HW to assemble

Would like a rig better then what I had, ideally i7, min 12gb ram & ssd. Always got NVidia but I think from what I am reading here, the 290 is the best option.
