How do I check if my Android phone is unlocked?

Anyone know the code instead of swapping sim cards as I dont have another sim card?

Try: *#*#7378243#*#*

Should get you the service menu which lists the unlock/lock status.

I typed this in and it says

Does this mean anything relevant?

That means something is blocking the menu I'd say, probably network customizations.

UTMS is just the standard. Not of use here.

When you boot the phone do you get a network splash screen(o2, vodaphone, 3 etc logo) before you get to the home screen? If so its locked.

No, that just means Universal Mobile Telecommunications System. Basically you were using a 3G network when you checked
