    Evening all,
How are clubs selecting their managers?
    Appointment, application, nomination, volunteer?
    Across all age groups
Are there central guidelines for it
    Thanks

Likely depends on the club size, level, success and committee dynamics among other things. Involved with a small club - we have a coaching committee who organises the coaches throughout the underage teams but it’s generally a case of seeking volunteers rather than turning people away or having an application process. Adult team sorts out it’s own manager and selectors.

There’s a book ‘The Club’ which goes through a season with a Clare senior hurling team who has competing management teams going to vote at a club meeting at the start of the season. Imagine that’s an extreme example.
