Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The longer the restrictions on people movements and work last the bigger the impact will be felt.

The vast majority of the 2bln people who travelled to their homes for the spring festival are still at home.

While infection rates continue to rise with this enforced curfew there is no chance of people being allowed to travel in massive numbers.

It will be a massive decision to allow 2bln people suddenly start travelling from every corner of the country through crowded train stations and airports and on into cramped living accommodations in urban areas, I’d imagine infection rates will need to be stabilised for a time before the decision should happen.

Maybe they will use the army to man ports and unload ships to get food in, they import so much food they cannot last long without moving on it.

And the movement of food from import points and internal facilities will be difficult as well. Unless they let people back to work, how are they going to move food to where the demand currently is in distant towns and rural areas?

It's a pressure on the supply chain and logistics, the demand is still there so I'd say the effect on price should be minimal
