Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You can actually hear the players talking to each other.

    JUDGEY!

Mick's giving it socks on the sidelines at least.

You think they would have given out some free tickets over the past day or two just to fill it up a bit - no atmosphere whatsoever. Like a training game.

You'd hear Mick from O'Connell street.

Judge is fûcking brainless, one on one and instead of waiting for the bounce barrels his man over instead. Stupid !

You could hear him effing & Blinding throughout the Gibraltar game

Sure even with 100,000 Iranians screaming out of them in one of the most Hostile games Ireland played in , he could still be heard roaring!

We are just unbelievably bad at creating chances. Even in the opposition box with space, time and an unmarked player who didn’t take mech finding.

Interesting that "The greatest fans in the world" that refuse to boycott haven't bothered to turn up tonight.

When people talk of Boycotts I think this is Defo the type of game to be doing it! Friendly games with nothing at stake! It won’t go unnoticed and will financially hit the FAI!

Would say no more than 15,000 at this

They’ll announce 40,000 to save face!

Bulgaria are incredibly poor. If we had anything in attack resembling a cutting edge this could be three or four but finding our men is a struggle.

Fûck me, final ball AGAIN !!!

This is the most boring game since Ireland v Switzerland

You'd think "the greatest fans in the world" would be. Or does that only apply for big games and tournaments?

A "decent number for a Tuesday night" is 25000!

Doesn't really matter anyway. With the emergence of the pretty decent underage group most of these lads will never play more than a handful of times for Ireland, thank God.

Hope to see Jack Byrne at half time at least

God this is rubbish. Creating nothing of note against a poor side.

In fairness, Cullen is having a good game which is the one position really up for grabs

Unfortunately, for the last 10 years (when Robbie Keane hit the downhill) or so, Ireland have had as much cutting edge as a butter knife. Don't get me wrong, there've been a handful of players who've put in good shifts and scored some much-needed goals, but no-one you could really say was a proven goalscorer.

Ireland's always been setup to be stubborn, which is fine, but what we wouldn't give for a player to create moves and for another to finish them.

100%, we are in the situation where we have nobody you’d call a finisher and nobody with a creative vision. As that last move shows for all that possession it’s an overhit, hit and hope, behind for a goal kick.

Given we actually have some talent coming through in some key positions from the under 21s side I wonder will a few of these players not be involved at all in 2 years time.
