Bought this today & its a powerful little Florabest cordless branch saw which will go though a lot. Highly recommend. Great price @ Eur39.99.

Doesn't look like it can cope with larger than 30mm diameter branches, why would it be better or faster than a decent lopper?

That's Lidl's fault, not OP's (it worked yesterday). Here's the cached version of the page: https://webcache.googleusercontent.c...&ct=clnk&gl=ie

And a video:

I have their cordless long handle pruner also (chainsaw at end), but the reason I bought this was because I was using the chainsaw to break up the lopped branches & it was very difficult/cumbersome to do with the long handle & chainsaw.

This little man is like a knife through butter once you get the branches onto the ground.

(Also, reason why link may be broken may be because it might have been last weeks offer - but likely you'll find some still on the shelves if interested, or at their periodic warehouse clearance sales. Either way, highly recommend at that price).
