Removing paint from frosted glass

What is the best way to clean paint from sand-blasted glass. I've just finished decorating and unfortunately, I've got a few spots that have paint on. I've tried white spirit, but all it seems to do is turn a concentrated paint spot into a larger, less dense blob. Looks worse, if anything. Tommy
