Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello

Dublin City Council tell me that you own the yellow plastic barriers left along Herbert Place at the Grand Canal.

Can you please arrange to get these removed?

    Regards

    Andrew

    Hi,

Would you mind sending a PM with the following and we will follow up with our crews in the area?

    - Your full name;
    - Contact number; and
    - The exact location of these barriers and when they were first in place.

    Thanks,
    Mairead

I sent those details last week Dylan. Can you please just make appropriate arrangements to get these removed?

Why is a pm with personal details needed. There's photos attached. Just remove them or someone will fall over them and sue.

Personal details are required in order to raise an investigation under a person's name so that they may receive updates on an investigation. However, investigations can be raised anonymously.

If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact me.

    Thanks,
    Daniel

Under GDPR, what is the legitimate business reason for the OP to provide you with personal details? I'm failing to understand why you need those details, and additionally, what way those details are being processed?

This is currently with our crews and we have highlighted this matter to them. As this is a public forum, we are unable to provide exact details as to what is being undertaken, but rest assured we are looking into this.

    Kind regards,

    Currently with your crews?

Does your crew actual do any work.  All you have do, is get into a van with two people, carry the barriers to the van and drive back to your depot.  There is no need for an investigation.

Maybe time to raise this on twitter and other media!!!!

Assure, thoroughly, priority, ah that's grand sure! As long as those buzz words are used, everything will be okay.

Just to confirm that the dreaded barriers are gone - not sure who took them - Dublin City Council or Irish Water, but they're gone either way.

More likely that they're in the canal...

Travellers here in Thurles tend to use them as obstacles for horses. I'm sure there's travellers in Dublin who'd love these. Hintedy hint hint.
