As quoted I was referring to Devnull comment on the citylink new services!.. Just think it’s ridiculous that 9.30 is the latest service leaving the airport, when over 100 flights arrive between 9pm and 5am

There was a overhaul of the 20/X20 services a little while back.

Theres actually alot of red tape for them to alter a licensed route. For all we know they may have applied already. Ive asked them same about getting galway to dub service to stop at junction 11 m6(b and q). Would add 5 minutes to the journey. Hardly would lose many galway customers over it

I can't see any reason why they would be declined a license for extra late night stops at Athlone, they are already a licensed operator on that route and there is only one other licensed operator on that route. As long as the service is 30 minutes separated from any other operator, the NTA will sanction it.

And seeming city link can operate services from Athlone to the airport every two and a half hours though out the night, don't see why they can't operate the same service from the airport to athlone
