4G mobile broadband SIM only works on 3G. Other 4G sim connects to 4G no problem.

    Same location.
    Same Router.
    Same settings.

    Bill pay account.


    2 brand new 4G sims would not connect to 4g.
    Both working fine on 3G.

    PAYG sim connected to 4G no problem.
    Guy in Eir shop was as perplexed as I was was.

    Spent 94 minutes on chat, telling me to get another SIM, go the shop, call technical support, finally they changed something on the account and it worked fine.


    They signed off before I could find out what they had changed.


    Looks like there is a switch on the account to turn on 4G.

    Anyone know what it is called or a reference so that I don't have to go through this again.
