Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just went past the four courts on a bus. I couldn't see what was happening but there's numerous fire engines, police cars and ambulances there. I couldn't see anything online. Anyone got any idea what's happening?

Whatever it is, rubbernecking doesn't help.

Am hearing rumors that an armed group has taken over, groups have broken in to the GPO and the Royal College of Surgeons too, meant to be symbolic and to ignite the sleeping Fenian

Unless he's driving the bus, I don't think that he is rubbernecking.

I think at the very least this thread will be an entertaining mix of speculation and sexual depravity.

How about the people who are there ask, and not ask us the people who are not there. People on the scene asking people online,
''do you know what's happening right in front of me''

Because simply catching a glimpse of emergency vehicles allow you to know exactly what's happening ;)

I'd suggest it was nothing serious anyway, as anything noteworthy would have well made headlines by now.

I drove past around 21:40. 4 fire engines and an ambulance. Traffic was slow,There must have been someone in the Liffey because firemen and pedestrian rubberneckers were hanging over the quay Wall looking down.

Did you see anyone on a bus looking out?
