Hey, don't know if posting in right thread, Does anyone know of a site for burial records in the UK. Looking for a great uncle who lived in Salford. Thanks.

The main site for UK burials I know of is deceasedonline.com which is a pay site.

There's also findagrave.com, interment.net and billiongraves.com which just might have something relevant for free.

If you have date of death, you could enquire directly of likely cemetery serving the area. Sometimes a simple phone call can be all that is needed what with their records on a database quickly accessed. Just say it is a personal inquiry..... otherwise maybe a charge and paperwork.
