Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Senior Smartpass on Dublin Bus

    I believe the Northern Ireland Senior Smartpass can be used in the South?

    Can they be used on Dublin Bus validators?

    They can be used but not validated as the Dublin Bus validators can't recognise them.

    Astoundingly enough,neither juristictions "Smart" passes can be read by the others Ticketing Equipment,in spite of the commonality of Software & Hardware...:o

    Some elements to be aware of when using a Northern Smartpass in the Republic are....

    1 Only the 65+ Category of Senior Smartpass is valid,and for the Holder only-There is NO Spousal/Partner/Companion entitlement attaching to N.I Passes.

    2. The 60+ Senior Smartpass is NOT valid in the Republic.

    3.It is a "Flash Pass",so just show it to the Busdriver.
