    Get Shorty is the next Book that was made into a film and now a tv series remake this time starring our very own Chris O'Dowd alongside Ray Romano.

    Arrives August 13 in the States on Epix.

    I'd say it could be a good TV show, Elmore Leonards stuff is perftec for adapting into TV and Film.

    The Book is great, I'd highly recommend it.Haven't seen the film and don't think I'll watch it either.Problem for me with the film for me is that Danny De Vito is a hell of a lot shorter than the character in the book was.The impression in the book seems to be that he's more Dustin Hoffman,Al Pacino height.

    I enjoyed the pilot.

    Chris O'Dowd is just Chris O'Dowd in everything he is in no acting done just plays himself.

    Yeah, that's one of the things I loved about it. He just plays an average Irish lad. No airs or graces, just normal.

    He doesn't speak with an American twang the way most kids in Ireland speak.

    Its a pity it doesnt get much attention because it has so many good performances. Although hopefully each season cant just follow making a new movie.

    Started watching this a few weeks back and just finished Season 3 last night.
    Love it. Nice dark humour as well as good drama.

    Shame its not been seen by bigger audience.
