1-1 Swim Lessons UL

Hi. I want to get 1-1 swimming lessons and was thinking of trying the UL pool. I was told they have a waiting list and I'm wondering if it's worth putting my name down. Has anyone done lessons there and if so, would you recommend them? Also, is the instructor in the pool or on the deck? Thanks
