Bambi and the Bastard Babies

    Bambi and the Bastard Babies are a new duo based in Dublin and comprising Lord Bambi and his bandmate Patrick. The pair first jammed together in 2015 but it was only last year that they really started working on music together. The first resulting track was "diMAILo", a summery reggae fusion indie rock track influenced by the output of Sublime; chirpy keyboards, a groovy bassline, a steady riddim and some Huey Morgan-esque rapping from Bambi. The song is about two postmen called Bob and Norman, and how they love their jobs as mailo's. It's short, but sweet.
