Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Many caches in Ireland?

    Hoping to get into geocaching with the youngster, so have been looking into it a bit.
    Am starting off fairly casually with Garmin's 'Opencaching' app on iOS.
    There doesn't seem to be that many caches listed on it in Ireland, so I was just wondering is there a better source for cache info?

    If you go into the app store and search for the Groundspeak app, that is the official Geocaching.com app. There are literally thousands of caches in Ireland. Would highly recommend you check out geocaching.com and look at the maps for your local caches. :)

    Yes there are a lot of Caches in Ireland.
    The First European Cache is in Ireland and is still there

    I think there's in the region of 5000-6000 active caches on the island at the minute.

    It depends on the area. Where I live there aren't many so cachers don't really travel out to find the one cache I have placed. Dooblin is absolutely packed with caches, Cork not so and rural areas are hit or miss depending on if there are active cachers in the area
