Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I mean...Each to their own I guess...you think YouTube is ready for that?

Would love to get a Roller and a Kayfun lite but not sure if I would be able to master it to get it to vape right.
    Is it fairly easy?

Trial and a heck of a lot of error. Most do not end up looking anything as pretty I can assure you.

The only time my wife complains about me vaping is all the cursing and throwing stuff when I'm trying to make a new rebuild.

She really needs to stop doing that :-D

For those of us that haven't tried a mod yet, can you break down what that comprises of?

The roller is a telescopic mod taking a 18350/18500/18650 battery, the aty is a repairable tank atomiser by clockworks. very simple aty to set up and a great vape.Ive 5 of these and other than a cheeky kayfun and an igoL dripper is pretty much all I use now.

Are you using mesh or silica with the RTA? How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

Only silica and Eco wool, never tried using mesh in one,I have enough of a pain in the hole using stairght mesh wicks let alone 'u' ones :-)

I've only bought one new, direct from clockworks, others I've got from the classifieds. The new one was I think £50, used ones I've bought for between £25 and £45.They certainly aren't the prettiest atys around and the capacity isn't the greatest but I really like the ease of set up and the vape is great.

The Clockworks RTA and RDA are pretty much the granddaddies of all the rebuildables, along with the Bulli.

Pity that most people seem to bypass them now for cheaper but often inferior rebuildables.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,026 ✭✭✭grindle

As much as I love my RDA, I have yet to break an iGO-L by over-tightening it. Impossible to do actually. And the way my TH connector has gone I have to tighten **** riiiiiiight up. Stupid connectors not being indestructible.

I use the same setup, the odd time I have to tip to get the wick soaked. I've never sussed why.I usually blame the missus.

My setup is pretty standard compared to a lot of you guys, some really cool stuff here.

AGR tank on an ego twist, looks sorta steam-punky to me, love the fecking thing.

What a 4 - 5 week waiting list for that mvp?. Still it's very nice in the wooden finish.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,026 ✭✭✭grindle

The MVP is it's own device, and a 4-5 week wait is on the medium-low end for waiting lists (I know, it's abysmal). Some people wait many many months having already paid for the product before getting it.
Wouldn't have the patience or belief in a mod or modder like that myself having never seen it (unless it fitted my hilariously unrealistic criteria), but it's enough for others. Collectors be collection'. Flippers be flippin'.

what's worse [kinda not really] is googling a list of your hilariously unrealistic ciriteria, finding an image of the exact flippin thing you've been looking for, track down the list post on the forum no one's ever heard of that you have to give someone a hand shandy just to get access to - only to bloody find out they only made 3 of them and they're all gone to reviewers or some sh**.

I know! Powerblok6000-4eva! Ah well. I'm stuck in this weird world where all beginners are looking for the smallest thing possible and then gravitate to wanting iTaste 134s, the heavier the better

Where's the middle-ground? Why do people want humongous mods?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 915 ✭✭✭heliguyheliguy

Can't imagine wanting one myself, but it's quite the attention grabber. :)
