Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I like the sound of rain, and I have a tablet app I sometimes use. But I generally forget it and don't really need it.

Death has this much to be said for it:
You don’t have to get out of bed for it.
    Wherever you happen to be
    They bring it to you—free.

Ten hour videos on YouTube of rain and thunder always help me drift off.

    ASMR. Every night.
Have a playlist of around 40 videos which I dip into every night.
Always guaranteed to fall asleep after those.

For those of you that listen to podcasts, what would you recommend? I haven't listened to any bar Serial, and there are so many I don't know where to start!

The sound of a rainstorm. I'm not comfortable with total silence and it's not really natural. The womb is a noisy place for babies.

I occasionally listen to The Complete Guide to Everything, it's light-hearted and chilled out. And the conversation style is compatible with drifting in and out of conciousness. Not sure if this is a good or bad review.

While I'm in the act of trying to sleep? No - I used to when I was younger but not anymore. In fact the older I get the more silence I want. I used to write to music - not anymore. Silence. I used to do housekeeping to music. Not anymore. Silence.

Hello darkness my old friend. You're a ****, etc.
