Why would you need an eircode for print at home tickets? You just go into your account the day before the gig and print them off yourself.

Are all the all seated gigs in the 3arena ticketed in this way, it seems all the flat seating up the front are being sold as vip packages anywhere between €350 and €550, all the decent blocks like B, C, D, E, F Are being sold as platinum tickets for between €250 and €350 and all the top tier blocks and the far sides of the arena are going between €90 and €120, crazy money being spent.

Bought tickets for my mother for Christmas. Been watching a lot of Eagles and especially Joe Walsh videos lately, really hope she decides to use her spare ticket on me now

Keep a regular eye on ticketmaster, with resales allowed there (and no doubt more "production" seats to be released) I'd say there's a good chance of some coming up

Superb stuff. Impressive, big scale production screens and a stage set-up that I'd assume would have provided great, unrestricted views, even up in the Gods (I was a few rows up from the floor on the tier). Excellent sound, solid setlist.
Camera phones were kept to the bare minimum (following pre-show announcements: most of the time, none were visible), and the enthusiastic crowd were actually less restless than the Eddie Vedder audience on Wednesday; the only particularly "bad" moment (re: crowd movement) was people streaming out in their droves during Those Shoes.
I thought Joe Walsh stole the show, but kudos to both Deacon Frey and Vince Gill, who've done a great job.

The Eagles gig was incredible from start to finish. The addition of Vince Gill and Gley Frey’s son Deacon worked so well. All their voices blended so well and both are so talented. I loved how they each took their moment to talk to the audience. The set list, sound, staging and lighting was faultless. They played for two and half hours. It was my first time seeing the Eagles and they were as good as I hoped they would be. I think it’s going to be on my list of the best gigs I’ve ever been too. Would love to be going again on Monday.

Very happy with the setlist, sound was very good. But, I thought the crowd compared to the Eddie Vedder wasn't as good. When it wasn't one of the hits it would see a shift in people exiting to the bars. I'm glad I've seen the eagles, 4 of my top 5 will have been seen with The National on Wednesday. I just didn't feel that energy from the crowd that I have experienced at other gigs like Arcade Fire, Radiohead and Eddie Vedder. They certainly picked it up with desparado. Happy with the gig, but that Vedder gig just had that spark.

This no cameras thing is really becoming the norm. Dont think it would be possible for all types of shows.

The concert was amazing. All the lads are extremely talented musicians. As Don Henley said, no dancing, no pyrotechnics....just a bunch of guys with guitars. Vince Gill was excellent, Joe Walsh was in great form (it was a pleasure to see him olay guitar on Hotel California and the 2 or 3 of his own songs were very good) and Deacon Frey did a great job. Don Henley threw in Boys of Summer as well, one of my favourite songs.

I found the no cameras thing really annoying tonight. I didn't film anything at the concert but some people around us were. We were sitting on the edge of a row and the stewards we falling over themselves trying to stop people filming if they were on the end of a row. It was very distracting!! All the while people sitting in the middle of a row well away from the stewards could film all they wanted. Enforcing it seemed a bit pointless and was more distracting than the people filming.

Imo the rule should not exist as we play enough for tickets and in this current society camera phones/social media recordings are so widespread. Once people aren't blocking the views then it's fine by me. Were Aldults at the end of the day and there too enjoy and not be told were bold ha

I do like recording some of my favourites and rewatching them (brings back memories etc)

I'd be the same, recording generally doesn't bother me all that much. I think Don Henley doesn't like it. I remember his Marquee gig back in 2016 had a similar ban. Tonight I found the stewards trying to stop people from filming far more intrusive and distracting than the people actually filming.

I say the stewards hate those gigs as well, extra job for them telling people to stop recording.

It's sort of a Catch-22. As has already been remarked, reprimanding people on the aisle while letting others in the centre of the row get away with it is ridiculous, but stewards worming their way past patrons in order to tell someone ten seats in to put their phone away is worse.
It's really impossible to police it in an arena without causing further distraction.
I have been at a few concerts where people completely respected the no camera rule, though: Kate Bush in Hammersmith Odeon, and a few King Crimson shows, most recently in the Albert Hall.

Any checks on names on tickets at the door? I bought tickets for my mam and aunt for tomorrow and offered to hang around with them to show my ID if needed, but could really do without it on a Monday evening.

Theres nothing on the ticket or email about named ticket holder only, but I was checked at a recent concert at the 3arena.
