This was ranked and hilarious. I realise my ELO is depressingly low, came from not playing ranked for months after a string of bad teams.

Note how we had 2 of their inhibitors down and they only had 2 of our outer turrets down. Trynda was a f*cking dick all game though, KRRRZ was my buddy and I was like "Will we do a surrender vote for the lulz, game is won"

The community can just be awful in this game, especially the Spanish for some reason, Germans dont seem too bad in my experience

There are ragers everywhere. I try to get as many premade as I can nowadays. Sick of randoms.

Also, I have never had as many double/triple/quadrakills as free Jax. Man do I feel stupid for blowing 12k ip on a Gangplank runepage when I don't want to have to stop playing Jax. Also, Nocturne's ultimate sounds funny as hell. I want to play as that f*cker.

Some welcome nerfs.
Banshee nerf is odd though considering how cc heavy the game is. It doesn't make it any less of a required item, just one that doesn't perform as well.
Also can't wait to get my hands on Nocturne.

One of my favourite casters. Yet leaving Akali and Katarina alone

As for Dorans blade, someone was telling me that the unintended effect was a 1g/10secs buff? Jeez I would've abused that more if it was.

Hehe, I think part of the reason he was nerfed was because people thought he was a caster due to the ridiculous damage he did while taking none.
If you put out damage you have to be squishy and if you're a tank you can't be dealing crazy damage.

When he's built tanky, he doesn't do much dmg, when he's built ap, he falls pretty quick. The likes of Akali and Kata are worse because they have such amazing getaways and don't even rely on mana. And Kata almost always has a Rylais and spell vamp.

Neither of those are true. Obviously the spirit visage removal was a big hit to him but even since then he is plenty tanky.

Fatty has his ridiculous charge through walls as well as his ult if the sh!t really hits the fan.

and don't even rely on mana.

Fatty gets free mana from his barrel so it's not usually an issue with him.

So my ranked mains are: JewPlank, Swain, Udyr, Jax, Amumu, Renekton and Blitz.

Who do people ban? For me: Anivia, Kata, Lux, Vlad, Trynd and Mord- depending on my mood.

I hate Katarina so much so that I often pick the likes of Udyr and Amumu just to deal with her bullsh*t. No skill****s, mass damage, you can own her in lane but she'll always make up for it with an ultimate triple kill. Akali's bubble is also one of the most rage inducing moves I know.

Bans are usually Amumu Shen, Rammus and maybe Morde or some ridiculous carry like MF or something.

Tryn is annoying late game and if haven't picked up exhaust or have a ready stun your f*cked once he goes UR. Loving 3's at the moment. Going as Jax Mundo Garen combo and completely stomping people.

I will say there is nothing like killing a Zilean. That feeling of gratitude that the bastard is dead is just beyond good.

Applies to Mundos too. I have to say, I don't really get the mass tank banning, the only one I'd call op is Mord. The carries with neverfail getaways and chasing abilities bother me far more.

Bans after last patch: Kassadin (despite nerfs), Irelia (despite nerfs), Renekton, Nocturne, Malphite (despite nerfs) and Shen.

I would've agreed with you on Morde a month ago but he's been nerfed so hard that it's very hard for him to get the farm he needs to be useful.

Most people aren't seeing the change as nerf but more of a role shift. His tower killing ability was severely toned down but he can still push with ease and now serves much better as a true tank.

As there are much better thanks out there, why you would pick singed as a true tank instead of the likes of shen, rammus, or ammumu is beyond me.

His tower killing ability, I found, was a core part of his play-style. He could soak damage in a fight or flip a squishy that over extended ( which doesn't happen as often as it did with lower level summoners), or if you had balls of steel, you could push quickly any tower, pop an ult and finish it, just in time to run off with the whole other team chasing you with a vengeance.

The added ad/as was what made him have a reasonable damage output in teamfights, as opposed to just only running around poisoning everyone. He can have all the pushing power he wants, but if he cant deal reasonable damage to the tower, its not going to mean anything when someone like malz can wipeout a wave in one combo

Because they're banned? And people don't always pick the current flavour of the month champs. I'd prefer someone that plays singed well on my team than someone just picking shen because they know he's powerful.

Well they felt he did the whole tower pushing thing too well, hence the nerf.
His role in team fights is to stop the enemy carry from putting out their damage on useful targets by either throwing them around, keeping them running or getting them to attack him. This will now be easier to perform with the reduced CC from his ult.

Tried singed today, he does have more survivabilty and it does help if AP carrys try to focus you and can still push well, but there was 4 to 5 times alone between just two towers alone, where I pushed from my half to as far as their second tower, where I could have taken them both if i still had my ult I could have taken them first time.

The Alistar changes could be very dangerous. He didn't need a buff so if it was anything but a slight role shift he's going to be insta-ban.

Just farming until midgame popping someone with the odd crit and laughing my ass off at the damage. Then just being an amazing poker at lategame with the ult controlling the pushing.

Alistar certainly didn't need a buff, I remember when we encountered one playing mid vs our Annie. Was ridiculously effective.

Alistar is f*cking ridiculous. What the f*ck were Riot thinking? One of the tankiest champs, AOE heal, massive CC and now f*cking huge damage to top it off. I'm thinking probably the strongest champ in the game at the moment.

bit of advice on jungling - it only really works if you are with friends/ppl you know as communicating is vital in the jungle to set up ganks and pull for the guy in lane. jungle heroes also only work if the team is set up to support it, if you have 3 melee heroes, 1 ranged & 1 in the jungle it just wont work as the guy playing the 2v1 lane will get f**ked or else you have a double melee long lane which is never good. try using support heroes to start off with as you will learn what is going on faster in lanes and learn about the heroes by facing them. you retain maximum effectiveness with the team as you arent relied on to carry (which is difficult for a starter) and are still extremely helpful to the team.
as your confidence in the game grows then try using the more difficult heroes and strategies (such as jungling). there is a **** ton of stuff to learn in the game and thats the most difficult part at the start as you find yourself getting owned cos you dont know wtf happened

I use to play it a free months ago with some of beginner champions. Don't know why I stopped as I kinda liked it and had fun.

EDIT: I remember now, it was because I got frustrated with the long queue times and droppers.

Play on the US servers thanks to a friend being a idiot and downloading the client from leagueoflegends.com instead of the EU site when we first discovered it

Currently win ratio is 1.05 or something on the lines of that. Bought Nocturne last night and having loads of fun with him an absolute beast of a jungler.

shaco is really good, can be annoying if on the other team, seems to just pop in and out of lanes. personally id recommend nunu, ashe, annie. there some of the easy champions to use, ive been using lux for the past week and i find she is quite strong, pretty week, easy to kill but can do alot of dammge and fast. if you want a good website for guides and builds use mobafire.com its very good.

What's the queue/loading times like?

I remember their PVP.net system being slow as hell setting up matches. That or other players had really bad PCs
