Your prime video has to be UK content. People who have Irish prime content shouldn't be able to rent movies no matter what card you use AFAIK.

You need to set your payment for digital services to the revolut card. When setting up the the card on amazon you will need to enter a UK billing address for the card. A parcel motel address in Antrim works for everyone. If it's still not working then settings are wrong somewhere.

I have finally figured this out. Firstly, I had done exactly as you said with my Revolut and the PM address. It did not work for me. I think it was because I had previously added the card and associated it with a billing address in ROI. Even after changing the billing address on Amazon and in the Revolut app to the PM address, it would not work.

Here's how I got it working:
Created a new virtual card in the Revolut app.
Added this 'new' card to amazon for digital payments associated with the PM address.
    Now it works perfectly.

Same here, man it's hard to believe that they first aired in 2003.

I was browsing through a list of recent additions and I notice I Am Not A Serial Killer was added a few weeks back. I watched it a couple of years back and enjoyed it. RT description

"Sixteen-year-old John Wayne Cleaver (Max Records, Where the Wild Things Are) is not a serial killer-but he has all the makings of one. Keeping his homicidal tendencies and morbid obsessions with death and murder in check is a constant struggle that only gets harder when a real serial killer begins terrorizing his sleepy Midwestern town. Now, in order to track down a psychopath and protect those around him, John must unleash his darkest inner demons. Based on the cult novel by Dan Wells, this twisted, genre-bending thriller co-stars Christopher Lloyd and Breaking Bad's Laura Fraser."

I think the director Billy O'Brian is Irish and cinematography is by Robbie Ryan

Just noticed Justified's on this. Don't know if it was recently added or I just somehow managed to miss it. Regardless, a rewatch is in order.

It's a fairly recent addition. There was a whole pile of TV shows added about a week ago, varying in quality.

    Bob's Burgers
    Elementary
    Madam Secretary
    Last Man Standing
    The Middle
    Psych
    The Librarians
    Downton Abbey
    The Last Ship
    Scream Queens
    The Tudors
    Roswell
    Justified

The Tudors and Justified have been on it for ages. Trouble is you'd have to stumble across them. It's a really terrible interface hiding a lot of good material.

The interface really is awful, struggle to find shows or movies

Watching Hand of God. Ron Perlman and Dana Delaney, who looks mighty for a woman in her sixties. First season starts well. Strange storyline and some interesting characters. Getting bored with second season, very predictable, but might as well see how it ends.

The choice on Prime is good. XRay is fab, and I wish Netflix had it. But the UI and subtitle behaviour of Prime is a pain in the neck. I don't like how they split their TV shows into different seasons, and I really don't like how they bury good stuff underneath absolute rubbish.

How does the xray work never bothered with it

If you are on tablet/phone just tap the screen, if you are using app on console/TV/fire stick just press up arrow. It will show you details of who the actors are on screen, you can click into them if you want. It's linked to IMDB (Amazon own it). For some shows (Prime Originals mostly) you will also get information such as the song playing, trivia, etc.

If you cast from phone to device, then you have the xray on phone and doesn't interupt what's on screen.

And on the live footbal, you could use it to see the stats and scroll through the timeline and even watch any goals that you had missed*. Excellent.

    * I only saw that feature in the early December matches and not the late December ones.

I've got the uk primecand need to use a VPN to get movies. I use smart DNS on the router to get it on the TV and a VPN on my laptop to get it there.
Nice thing is that you can download the movies and watch them on the move.

Is there much difference between what you get on Prime in Ireland and the UK? I know the music streaming won't work here but seemingly is included in Prime in UK?

Thanks. Been meaning to watch Justified for a while now. Never noticed it on Prime. Tis a crap interface alright. And terrible at highlighting shows similar to your previous viewing.

Amazon Prime video via the Eir deal is not straightforward. I had to use the same email I use for eir, the email I use for my regular amazon account was not accepted. I then connected a 4K fire stick to the new amazon video account, i tried Fleabag first and a fair few other titles, but that all won’t play with an error code 5505 for invalid location.

Can someone please give me an example of a title that should definitely play so I can check it is working?

Why are there so many not available in Ireland?

That said some of the above comments that it does not work i Ireland via a Firestick are worrying :-(

To close my story. I had to create a new amazon prime account (with email to match my eir account email), separate from my normal amazon account, I bought the firestick on the later rather than the former, where there are no purchases. I ended up adding my revolut card and gave it a british address (parcelmotel). After doing this Amazon chat support did their thing and the Firestick now works 100%!

Is it easy enough to switch regions. Just phone support and request?

I’ve added a UK address (sisters) and linked my revolut card to my Amazon.com account.
I might run into a problem as my account is .com rather than .co.uk.

More new third party content: Monk, Catfish, Lost, NCIS LA, and most of what South Park they didn’t already have (though that show seems to be on everywhere). And some Fireman Sam for the kids.

thanks for that, I had a look at Starzplay last night, its got a good bit on there I would watch, including a decent introductory offer. Does anyone know if you can register for Starzplay outside of the US, or UK even? I tried last night, but as far as I can see its not available in Ireland...

It’s available via the Apple TV app at €4.99 pm, seven day trial. Not a whole pile on it, mind you, but still probably better value than Apple TV+!

Just ask them via online chat to switch it over for you and you can have a look. I get a message every couple of days to see if I want to switch back.

Not sure exactly what shows I've been able to watch since switching to the UK version, but the main reason I've done it is that it makes the fire TV stick work properly with prime video

Loads of great older series on Prime now. Justified, Monk, Psych, Parks & Rec, Bones to name but five. As well as excellent new stuff like Good Omens, The Patriot, The Boys, The Expanse and Bosch.

Just a shame it's such a fugly layout of a site/app. I know they're encouraging you to buy things in amongst the prime shows and films but bleugh it makes for crappy browsing.

I think I've watched more Prime recently than Netflix.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

I think the option to "buy" stuff is only on the UK version, the Irish one doesn't have that. But both are very bad from a user interface perspective anyways.
But I agree, lots more great content now, especially for TV.

I presume you are trying to register a smart tv or something? When I joined I opened the app on the TV and it had the code there and the exact website address to go to to enter that code online to register the device. Is the website to go to not being displayed on your devise?

Go to www.primevideo.com/mytv login and and enter your code there
