    Correct?

That's the one. Curious to see what I'll think of it now as it's been years since I last saw it. Thanks a million!

Does anybody remember what movie is this:

It's an 80's scifi comedy about a guy in his 20s, he has problems with shyness so then somehow there is a snake growing from the neck or head or something that makes him do things and turns his life around basically.

    Anybody know it?

Naah, not it, it was an American movie, and the creature was like a snake, I remember the main character trying to hide by putting on a hat and that thing still flopping around.

Haven't seen your suggested movie though, looks interesting, I'll check it out, thank you!

Nope, I thought it was it for a second, because everything matches, but after watching it, it is not it unfortunately. It was more of a comedy than horror. And I remember the hat scene in the car and there was like a showdown fight type of a thing going on in the end between the main character and his rival.. who was also young guy, who bullied him.

racking my brain trying to identify a movie.

Its either one of 2 films, one being the Dream Team and the other being a film with Darryl Hannah and Dudley Moore (I cant think of the name of the film they were in)

Anway in one scene, its a scene in what I believe to be a mental institute. The doctor asks the patients a serious question and most of them put up their hand. Then from memory, either Dudley Moore or Michael Keaton ask the group "who wants to be a fire engine?" and even more people raise their hand.

    Any ideas?

    Crazy People

EDIT: And just to prove it..
Kathy: Who here wants to be an advertising executive?
    [several hands go up]
Emory Leeson: Who here wants to be a fire truck?
[everyone raises their hands, with several standing and commenting things like "Ooh, I do!" and "Me! Pick me!"]

Any chance any of you could help me?

My mother in law was talking about a film she saw about 45 years ago, and she's trying her best to remember the name of it. For some reason the film comes to mind everytime she hears the song "Tell Laura I Love Her" - although she doesn't think it features in the film.

Anyway, what she told me about the film is very vague, and sadly below is all I know about it. If any of you have any idea as to what the film is it would be great.

Right, this is what I've been told.

The film ends and he is at war. She is in a chapel praying for him. As she walks out of the chapel she collapses and dies. But his ring is in her hand (as if by miracle).

    That's all, I know it's vague... sorry.

Hi, this is a long shot but hoping someone recognises this film from a tiny scrap that I remember – saw this on TV years ago and this one scene has always stuck in my head. Can’t remember the main plot at all, just this bit.
It’s an old film, black and white, possibly 1940s or 50s. There’s this little blonde girl who’s in either an orphanage or boarding school or somewhere, and she has this little toy horse, like a model of a horse maybe a foot high, and she has it by her bed. And in the middle of the night she decides to run away, possibly to find her way home or something, so she takes the horse and sneaks out. Then you see her trotting along the road by a cliff, with the horse under her arm, in her nightdress -think she’s singing or making horsey noises- when next thing she slips and falls down the cliff…. And that’s all I remember! The rest of the plot may have involved her parents, think there was a couple in it anyway, don’t really have a clue.
Any ideas? The scene has stuck in my head for years!

    Hi All,

I wonder can anyone recall the following film?

It was a sci-fi set in an apocalyptic near future. The main character became aware that his world was not as it seems and that while everything and everybody looked perfect, this was actually just a veneer of perfection kept in place by some sort of technology.

He began to see through this and see diseased people and ruined buildings etc.

    That's all I can remember.

Anyone know what it might have been?

    Thanks,

right, this one has been driving a friend mad for years...

its about this couple who are kinda in love, but the guy has to marry a gypsy (or something like that) and the girl marries some other fella out of anger. eventually they run off together and have 2 kids, but then the guys old wife send their son to him because she cant look after him... the couple are really poor at this stage...

anyway the son (the one that was sent to them) asks the woman why theyre always getting thrown out of wherever theyre living and she says "theres too many of us". soon after the couple go out because one of them has a chance at a job, leaving the son (who is like, 6) in charge of the 2 kids. the couple come back all happy because they got the job, but the kid has killed the other 2 and hung himself.

after theyve calmed down a bit the woman says it was gods way of telling them they shouldnt be together because theyre not married to each other...

cant remember what happens then till the end... its a good while after the kids dies, the fella is in the graveyard looking at the headstones and the woman shows up, and brings up how it was gods way of telling them they shouldnt be together and yer man goes "we were more than any man and wife" or something similar.

End. Anyone know it? she said it was on after midnight, saw it about 6 years ago, no idea of the actors in it. Cheers lads.

Sounds a bit like The Island, but don't remember any diseased people. The growing people look like sick people though!
Its on tonight at 00.15 on TV3!

I saw this movie late at night years ago, and no amount of searching keywords at imdb has helped me find out what it's called.

It was about a mother with two kids traveling across france with a businessman, she's trying to catch out her husband cheating I think and he just needs to get to the same city as her.

It ends pretty predictably with the cold-hearted businessman becoming a father figure to the two kids over the course of the trip, but I remember really enjoying it.

    Any ideas?
