Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi there,

I am looking for any Germans living in dublin with small children to meet up maybe on a weekly /monthly basis. Maybe anybody knows of any already existing playgroups or meet ups?

I have a 3-year old myself and I am the only person who talks German with him so I am struggling a bit with the whole bilingual idea of upbringing.

Any help/ info would be much appreciated!!

    Thanks

Might be worth asking at the Goethe Institute

The German Lutheran Church in Adelaide Road has a Familientreff "Krümelgruppe" on Fridays from 10:30 to 1. There are more people there who are exactly in your position. They have a Laternenumzug in November, Plätzchenbacken and so on.
You don't have to be a member of the church and they won't try to convert you.
