Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Newcastle Lyons: A Parish of the Pale author

The book Newcastle Lyons: A Parish of the Pale makes reference to my Moore ancestors of that area, references which are at odds with what I know of the family at that time. If possible I'd like to write to the authors to explore the matter further.

According to Google the authors are Peter O'Sullivan, William Nolan and Kevin Whelan.

Does anyone know any of the three gentlemen or how I might contact them?

If you know who published it, the publisher would probably forward an email. I tried that tack before successfully.

Just thought they might be people the group would be familiar with.
I'll try the publisher route - thanks Pinky.

Kevin whelan is with the Keough Naughton institute for Irish studies. William Nolan is a retired geography lecturer. He is still involved with Geography Publications
