I am looking to find the date of birth and address of a Uncle that me or my family cannot trace. Does anyone know how I can find these details? I heard that if the person is on the register of electors, I can go to the registry office and find out. Is this true?

    Welcome!

Please have a read of our charter.

We don't trace living people on this board. The electoral register is freely accessible online but you need to know what county and rough address to find someone.

If he was born before 1958, you may find a birth entry index record online. Details in our sticky.
