Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

2 drinks per person? There goes my opportunity to get thrown off a flight for the first time for drunk and disordingly behavior.

It's not really enforced unless you get rowdy I imagine

In my experience that's just to stop people going mental and lashing back 10 beers before the flight, it's not really enforced.

When I click 'I Want It' in the red app, and submit, I get 'Your Request Cannot be Processed' and an oops message.

Anyone else get this or know how to get around it?

Edit: Sorted, I just kept trying.

Hello from Dublin Airport Business Lounge. No problems to get it. DragonPass was accepted. No questions asked.

Anyone chanced getting young kids in on the parents card? 20 for me and the mrs but would cost 40 for all of us, not sure if it would be worth that.

Kids under 2 are free, over that they need a pass.

    Yup, 6 and 3.

The fact that I cant use my passes and need to register them separately on a different device is turning me off too.

Pity they don't do that in the airport bars before people get on a flight.

Flying out of Cork airport in two weeks. Might give this a go.

What's the Cork airport Aspire lounge like?

What's the Cork airport Aspire lounge like?

its basic enough compared to many others but for a tenner is fine.

the whole of cork airport is like a lounge as you don't really need to be there more than an hour before your flight

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 797 ✭✭✭mydiscworld

Cheers. I also have a lunchtime flight out of Shannon at Easter but I hear their Boru lounge is poor?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,857 ✭✭✭glanman

again for a tenner you can't go wrong if want a coffee, snacks in the airport if there for more than an hour.

wouldn't be paying €25/30 for them unless having a long layover and want a nap area, shower etc

Thanks for that OP. Just bought a few of visits and will see how I get on over the next couple of months. Have been travelling for work for years and never bothered with lounges up until now. This price makes it very attractive. Thanks again.

I was also there this morning, no issues. I should get to try it in Zürich soon as well.

If you get in for just a tenner its well worth it.
Loads of seats, newspapers and fresh fry up and coffee etc.
Did it in October and certainly started the day off on the right foot.

I think o broke it. Didn't follow the ops steps correctly as I used my Facebook to sign up so I now have a platinum card in my Google pay but if I try to access my profile I keep breaking it so that it gives a spring boot exception.
Gets fixed and then I break it again.
I'll have to try from scratch again.

Can I add two passes and have my girlfriend use one? Or would she need her own separate profile?

Still showing as 10 USD in the dragonpass app for me, but I registered a few days ago so maybe they've stopped for new registrations

Followed instructions but my level doesn’t change from silver to platinum , perhaps the code HAPPYBIRTHDAY2020 is not working anymore ?

Any one else getting this screen while trying to get the pass?

Did you check your spam folder?

    Also
Note: If the e-mail with the access data for the DragonPass does not come automatically as with us, you have to go to "Airport advantages" in the app and then "Lounge access". To do this, you must have selected an airport as the home airport that also has a lounge (e.g. Dublin). Then you will be forwarded to the application. At this point, the app sometimes hangs, just try it several times.

If you click 'my profile' at the top right in the Red app, then 'my profile' again you should be able to see your dragonpass account number

Still showing as $10 for me. I registered a few days ago though.

I registered today and not showing $10 for me. I think the problem is that is it doesn't update to Platinum (the Happybirth.... promo code doesn't work).

    Quick question:

I've bought a visit using the Dragonpass app and I now have Total Available Visit(s): 1 under 'My Membership'. However nowhere can I find that it is specific to the Lounge I want. Is it just a case of showing the QR code on the same screen when visiting the lounge? Or how does it work to gain entry?

The passes are not specific to a lounge. You buy the passes and you can use them in any lounge listed in the app. They just scan the QR code and your available visits will be decremented.

Just to add, I used the pass in the Aspire Lounge in Zurich Airport yesterday with no issues.

I entered the promo code and I still only have Silver access so I presume it has indeed finished.

    Maybe someone can confirm.

Interested in this too. Can I screenshot the QR code and send it to someone else? Or let someone else log into my account on their phone?

Edited: within the DragonPass app, under card details, it says ‘accompanying guest allowed: no’, so looks like no sharing.

Am I right that though the passes are valid for a year, we’ve only got a month to buy them?

The Platinum Status is valid for a year but there is no guarantee that Dufry might pull it at any time :)

So it's a bit of a risk but according to the settings at the moment you should be able to buy for a year.

I saw that, but if the lounge staff only scan the QR code and don't bother checking the name you might be able to get away with it...

The Dragonpass website says this, might be able to chance it with the staff if they argue.
    https://en.dragonpass.com.cn/about/faqs
Can I bring guests or children to the airport lounge?
Each lounge has its own policies regarding guests and children. Please check the lounge information in the lounge description provided in the App. If the lounge permits guests, please do take note that you will need to have sufficient visit toped up in your membership as one visit will be deducted from it for each guest accessing the lounge. If you received your membership from your issuer, please do check with your issuer for more details about rules of bringing guests to access the Lounge.

Afaik, the pass lasts a year but you only get a discount for the first month. After a month it's $25 per visit.

So we should buy a few passes at $10 a go within the first month of membership to have for later?
