Under UK law prostitution is legal but solicitation is illegal. "Living off immoral earnings" is also illegal so that would include pimps or anyone working for or with a prostitute.

Kerb-crawling is also illegal.

It is legal for one person in a house/apartment to work as a prostitute but illegal for two or more to do so.

I believe the Irish laws are similar so the only illegality in the OP's scenario is the advertising, if it hosted outside the state even that would be questionable.

AFAIK escorts who advertise on the net are pretty much ignored by the Gardai, in an official capacity anyway.

exactly, if they were to change the laws to try and catch the grey area whores then a huge portion of the women (and men) in the country could be done for prostitution. If they had sex with a man after he bought them a few drinks or dinner they could technically be called a prostitute.

The escort scene in dublin is HUGE & makes SO much money that escorts from across europe can 'tour' Ireland literally & they announce they're coming to ireland on their websites with guys happily paying 300-400 bills for an hour.... I kid you not.... & Temple Bar has ALOT of escort agencies running out of it, as does ALOT of the city centre.... most provide in-call services from apartments in the city center, as well as out-calls (although most of these happen during the 9am-9pm period of the day!!)

The way they get around advertising what they do is they say "you are paying for the comapny of the ldy in question, & whatever happens after that is between two consenting adults." You also pay BEFORE the 'date' begins, NOT after.......
